Mohender Singh v. Diljit Dosanjh, Jimmy Fallon, NBC & Live Nation: Civil Lawsuit

A federal civil lawsuit has been filed in the Southern District of New York by plaintiff Mohender Singh against singer Diljit Dosanjh, talk show host Jimmy Fallon, NBC Universal Media, and Live Nation Worldwide. The complaint seeks damages for emotional distress, alleging that Dosanjh publicly honored Amitabh Bachchan—who the plaintiff alleges incited the November 1984 Sikh Genocide that resulted in the murder of his father. The media defendants are accused of amplifying this distress by platforming, celebrating, and organizing concerts for Dosanjh.
